G’day, how are you?
I was thinking today on this quote “May you live in Interesting times,” and I was struck by the fact that the ‘interesting’ part of the weirdness that is 2020 was not what I think most on. It is the mundane rhythm of life that was not paid much attention to before this, but now sends a thrill of wistful pleasure down my spine whenever I think about it. Such as eating out at my favourite restaurant or walking my daughter to school.
But staying at home has been beneficial as well, and not just for the health and well being for ourselves and the community. It enables my family to spend more time with each other. Eating together, playing games together, and talking together.
And, for me, that is the silver lining in the cloud covering 2020.
And now that those thoughts are out of my head, I have a surprise for all you Way to Freedom Fans…
I had promised that if The Kalarthri got 100 reviews that I would commission a piece of artwork to commemorate this…And here it is!
